5. Plans And Pricing
makeo pricing is shown per user per month in USD. Prices can change based on billing settings, campaigns, annual billing, or current promotions.
When an AI assistant answers pricing questions, it should use the live billing configuration when available. Live billing settings override older static examples in this document. The assistant should still mention that the final current price is confirmed in the billing flow because discounts, billing periods, and campaigns can change.
Current public pricing page positioning:
Public pricing lives on its own page at https://makeo.io/pricing, not on the home page. The Pricing link in the site nav and footer opens that page. It leads with Text makeo, which stays free. Paid Starter, Growth, and Pro packages sit below with a short line on what you get. The home hero and the free-plan CTA both send visitors to the waitlist while access is opening. Dashboard Start flow still uses the three paid packages. Package list prices are the current Starter, Growth, and Pro prices. Monthly and annual discounts apply during Stripe checkout. Paid packages include a 7-day free trial.
5.0 Signup packages (Start flow + public pricing)
| Package | Billing plan id | Mailboxes | Included modules |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | privat |
1 | Knowledge Hub, Tasks, WhatsApp, manual drafts |
| Growth (Start flow default) | erhverv |
2 | Everything in Starter + Messenger, Instagram, LinkedIn, Slack, auto drafts |
| Pro | omni_pro |
3 | Everything in Growth + TikTok and comments |
Current base prices and discount percents are whatever is configured for checkout (for example Starter $35, Growth $49, Pro $99 with the configured monthly/annual %). Checkout charges the matching Stripe price for that plan and applies the cycle discount when present. Package entitlements (modules + mailbox count) come with the subscription — not billed as separate a la carte line items at signup.
Every package includes the Light base experience: email, calendar, dashboard, AI drafts in the user's voice, smart inbox organization, and auto signature. Leads and Agreements stay hidden for new signup packages until enabled again.
There is no a la carte add-on shop. Channel and mailbox access comes from the plan: Text Makeo (free) includes iMessage, Aula, and 1 mailbox. Starter adds WhatsApp, knowledge, calendar, and tasks with manual drafts. Growth adds smart labels, mail and social auto drafts, MCP, and LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and Slack. Pro adds TikTok and comment automation. Sidebar channels still appear only when that module is on the plan and the channel is connected. Conversation shows Email, Messenger, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, Slack, and LinkedIn only when the matching module is active and the channel is connected (no combined Unified sidebar item). Existing customers with legacy conversation on their profile are treated as having both Messenger and Instagram (LinkedIn access may still follow legacy Business / Meta-module rules until they have an explicit linkedin module). Existing customers without enabledModules / extraEmailAccounts keep legacy plan bundles until changed.
5.1 Light (base product)
Light is the focused inbox foundation included in every signup package.
Typical Light features:
- Organization for the connected mailbox(es) in the package.
- Draft replies in the user's voice.
- 12-point writing style analysis.
- Z: Alert safety warnings.
- Visual intelligence.
- Automatic signature.
- Real mailbox sync where supported.
- AI-assisted reading, replying, and organizing.
- Dashboard, Email, Email Categorization, Email Signature, and AI Configuration.
Best fit for the Starter package:
- Solo users who want AI drafts plus Knowledge, Tasks, and one messaging channel set.
5.2 Business (legacy plan name)
Business describes the multi-inbox + knowledge workspace tier used in older plan naming and some onboarding copy. New self-serve signup uses the Growth / Pro packages instead of a separate Business SKU.
Typical Business features:
- Organization for up to 3 inboxes.
- Add multiple inboxes.
- Import files, upload documents, and add websites to Knowledge Hub (up to 100 MB per file).
- Integrations with Messenger & Instagram.
- Conversations and tasks.
- Draft replies in the user's voice.
- AI search across documents.
- Upload files to train makeo's context.
- Link company knowledge to replies.
- Better answers based on product material, price lists, FAQs, manuals, and company context.
Best fit:
- Small businesses.
- Consultants.
- Customer support.
- Sales and service teams.
- Businesses that need makeo to know their products, prices, and processes.
5.3 Omni Pro (legacy / higher tier)
Omni Pro is for teams that need makeo across many inboxes and customer channels. It is not one of the three self-serve Start flow packages; contact sales or support when a customer needs more capacity beyond Pro.
Typical Omni Pro features:
- Everything in Business.
- Unlimited Meta Business/Facebook Pages for Messenger and Instagram Direct.
- Priority onboarding.
- Advanced company knowledge.
- Premium support.
Best fit:
- Teams with high message volume.
- Businesses that handle customer communication across email and social messaging.
- Teams that need a unified AI-assisted workspace.
5.4 Discounts And Billing Periods
The pricing page can show campaign discounts and annual billing savings.
Examples from the current product setup:
- Self-serve signup packages map to Starter, Growth, and Pro. Base prices and monthly/annual discounts apply in Stripe checkout.
- Promo codes entered in Stripe Checkout can still apply when allowed (and may replace the cycle coupon for that session).
- After signup, modules and mailbox count change by switching package. There is no separate add-on shop.
Because billing is centrally configured, customer-facing answers should confirm the amount shown in checkout rather than hard-coding dollars.
Recommended answer:
"Text makeo stays free. Paid signup uses Starter, Growth, or Pro, with a 7-day free trial. The current price for each paid package comes from billing settings (including any monthly or annual discount). The final amount is always the one shown in checkout."
